Midlife Pilot Podcast:
Your Aviation Companion

Hey there, fellow aviators! Whether you're a seasoned pilot or just starting your journey into the wild blue yonder, we've got something special for you. Let's talk about the Midlife Pilot Podcast - your new best friend in the cockpit!

What's It All About

The Midlife Pilot Podcast is your weekly dose of aviation inspiration, especially if you've caught the flying bug a bit later in life. Hosted by the dynamic trio of Ben, Brian, and Ted, this show isn't about boring lectures or dry instruction manuals. Nope, it's all about sharing real stories, personal insights, and the pure joy of spreading your wings in midlife.

Every week, these guys dive into topics like:

  • The ups and downs of learning to fly (pun intended!)

  • How becoming a pilot changes you (spoiler: it's awesome)

  • The thrill of exploring new destinations from the air

Why It's Worth Your Time

  1. It's Made for You: If you're sporting a bit of salt and pepper in your hair (or maybe no hair at all - we don't judge!), this podcast speaks your language. It's all about the unique challenges and incredible rewards of becoming a pilot in midlife.

  2. Community Spirit: Flying can sometimes feel like a solo adventure, but not here! The Midlife Pilot Podcast has built a fantastic community of like-minded aviators. It's like having a virtual hangar full of friends to share your experiences with.

  3. Real Talk from Real Pilots: Ben, Brian, and Ted aren't just talking heads - they're pilots living the same journey you are. They share their triumphs, their mistakes, and everything in between. It's like sitting around the airport cafe, swapping stories with your buddies.

  4. Practical Advice: While it's not a formal ground school, you'll pick up plenty of useful tips and insights. From conquering pre-flight jitters to nailing your radio calls, they've got you covered.

  5. It's Actually Fun: Let's face it, some aviation content can be low and slow. Not this show! The hosts keep things engaging, mixing humor with helpful info to keep you entertained and informed.

What People Are Saying

Don't just take our word for it - the Midlife Pilot Podcast is hitting the right notes with listeners. With a stellar 4.9 out of 5 rating from 83 reviews so far, it's clear that folks are loving what they hear. Here's what some of your fellow pilots are saying:

First pilot friend!
I found this podcast a few months ago when I started really thinking about getting a PPL and even possibly career switching down the road.

Having no background in aviation and no friends with PPLs, this podcast is a much needed friend that gives me guidance and encouragement in this journey. I just started taking lessons and am loving every minute of it!

I am especially grateful for your episode about how to get started as it gave me the confidence to own my training and find a CFI that works for me. Thanks so much for being my first pilot friend!
